We’ve asked one of our Cheshire campus activators a few questions about why you should get into sports at MMU and also about her role as an sports activator!
Name: Jodi Ventre
Course: BSC (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science
What made you become an activator?
As I have recently become the Vice-Chair for women’s football in Cheshire, I wanted to gain an all-round view of sport as a whole around MMU Cheshire. I also wanted to help establish links and build bridges between active campus and clubs.
What do you love about sport?
I love the opportunities that arise from playing and involving yourself in sport, such as the job opportunities, social events as well as the chance to travel and see more of the world.
Why should people get involved with sport at MMU?
People should get involved in MMU sport as it’s a great way to meet all types of new people who work and attend the university. It also allows you take part in free fun activities and socialise whilst leading a healthy and active lifestyle
What is your greatest sporting memory?
My greatest sporting memory would have to be winning the ladies football league for my home town under-21s football team in 2013.
You can meet Jodi by heading down to our FREE ladies football active campus session every Friday! Simply click here to find out how you can take part!
