We’ve asked one of our Manchester campus activators a few questions about why you should get into sports at MMU and also about his role as an sports activator!
Name: Sam Webb
Course: BSc (Hons) Human Biology
What made you become an activator?
I want to get people involved in sport as well as making badminton a more popular sport within the university in the years to come.
What do you love about Sport?
I like the way you can look back on your time playing sport and see how much you have progressed both as a player and as an individual.
Why should people get involved with sport at MMU?
It’s a great way to try something new and you may even discover a hidden talent that you never thought you had before. Also by engaging in sports it can lead to a healthier and longer life.
What is your greatest sporting memory?
It has to be representing my home County in an under-19s Badminton tournament and winning it!
You can meet Sam by heading down to our FREE badminton active campus sessions every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday! Or at our dodgeball session every Tuesday! Simply click here to find out how you can take part!
