Free heart tests for MMU students

CRY-Heart

Every week in the UK, at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions.

We are delighted to be working with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) to offer a free heart test for students at Manchester Metropolitan University aged between 14 and 35.

The testing will be taking place on Monday 2nd November 2015 at the Cheshire Sports Centre at our Cheshire Campus.

This screening has been made possible by the Sara Pilkington Memorial Fund, which has been set up by the family to help CRY reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death through supporting CRY’s screening programme.

The aim is to fund the screening of young people within the local community.

To book your screening, please visit the Test My Heart website.  The password to book an appointment is CHE2.

Please note that this screening is only open to students at Manchester Metropolitan University.
