Meet our Activator…Harry Crutchley!

We’ve asked one of our Cheshire campus activators a few questions about why you should get into sports at MMU and also about his role as an activator!

Name: Harry Crutchleyharry_crutchley

Age: 19

Course: BA (Hons) Physical Education and Sports Pedagogy

Sport: Football

What made you become an activator?

The chance to work for the University and get experience in new sports as well as leading sports. I also became an activator as I want to help other students feel part of something and get involved in an active fun lifestyle.

What do you love about Sport?

I love the feeling of being part of a team and being able to express yourself through something you enjoy.

Why should people get involved with sport at MMU?

Taking part in sport at MMU is a great way to socialise and have fun at the same time, making friends for life through shared interests in sport.

What is your greatest sporting memory?

I have two favourite sporting memories. One of them was being able to play football in Barcelona. And my other memory would be being mascot for the England under-21s.

You can meet Harry by heading down to our FREE Active Campus futsal sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays or by going to the cricket sessions every Thursday! For more information click here!
